Terms of use

Version of 30 October 2026 · Privacy policy

1. What Coucou is

Coucou is an app to practise a language by talking and chatting with Camille, an AI character. It is not a person, not a human teacher, and not therapy, medical, legal or any other professional advice. It is not for emergencies. Coucou is run by Eduardo, in Brazil.

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. For now Coucou is by invitation only. One person per account: don't share your account, and sign out on devices that aren't yours.

3. Fair use

4. AI makes mistakes

Camille can be wrong, including about the language you're learning. Check anything important. Coucou is provided "as is", without guarantees that it will always work or always be right.

5. Free, for now

Coucou is currently free, as a test. We may change, pause or stop it. If we stop it, we'll try to tell you in advance so you can download your data. If it ever becomes paid, we'll ask you first.

6. Your content

What you say stays yours. You allow Coucou to process it to run the service, as explained in the privacy policy. Camille, the texts library and the app belong to Coucou.

7. Leaving

You can leave at any time: Settings → Account & privacy → Delete my account. We may close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why when possible.

8. Law and contact

These terms follow Brazilian law. If you live in the EU, your local consumer rights still apply. Questions: Settings → Account & privacy → Write to us.
